The finalization of the arrangement for Wildwood Casino in Cripple Creek took place last week.
Fertitta Entertainment, headed by renowned restaurant and casino magnate Tilman, has officially acquired the property located at the base of Pike & , s Peak. To align with Fertitta & ’s existing portfolio, the Colorado casino will undergo a rebranding process and be known as Golden Nugget Casino.
Wildwood, which opened its doors in 2008, has distinguished itself as the highest casino globally, perched at an impressive elevation of 9,593 feet. Not only does it hold this record, but it also proudly boasts the title of the world’s highest Golden Nugget game. Moreover, Wildwood Casino offers a luxurious 101-room resort and features over 500 gambling systems for visitors to enjoy.
The Golden Nugget currently runs online casinos in five states where it is legally allowed, however, online gambling in Colorado is not yet permissible.
Fertitta Entertainment is a brand-new users of the Colorado game.
Wildwood had been under the ownership of the American Gaming Group since 2008, with a construction cost of over $14 million.
The manner in which Fertitta Entertainment financed the acquisition of Wildwood remains uncertain. However, upon their decision to establish the venture, Fertitta Entertainment submitted a registration to the Securities and Exchange Commission, revealing their assets and liabilities.
Last week, the Fertitta staff acknowledged that the listed purchase price of $43 million for the Wildwood was incorrect and failed to disclose the actual final price.
All existing employees are welcome to continue working for the reboot. Additionally, the Golden Nugget & program will incorporate all commitment rewards programs of our valued customers.

Wildwood is not only one of Colorado’s largest casinos, but it is also one of the 40 active games in the area. With a population of just over 1,000 residents, Cripple Creek is home to this impressive establishment.
