Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions are an agreement between the Organisation of Paesaggi Migranti and the Participants attending the workshop.



1.1 To become a participant you must be at least eighteen (18 years old).

1.2 By submitting the application form the participant declares to have received these regulations and in addition declares himself/herself in agreement with its contents.

1.3 In the event that the number of registrations exceeds the number of available places, the method of selection will be done by Paesaggi Migranti.

1.4 Paesaggi Migranti may make changes to the programme and activities at any time to ensure the Participant receives the best experience.

1.5 Every Participant will respect the Italian law and regulations, including those related to ethics, privacy and security and freedom of information.

1.6 Paesaggi Migranti can not guarantee and does not promise any results from attendance at any project.

1.7 We reserve the right to deny you and others access to the event.



Paesaggi Migranti will carry an insurance for participants (you’ll be cover in case of accidents during the workshop).


With this document :

2.1 The participant understands that the workshop is covered by an insurance policy against accidents owned by ‘Chiocciola la casa del nomade’ Association, which it is also covered by Public Liability Insurance Policy in accordance with applicable national regulations.

2.2 The participant declare his/her free, express and formal waiver request, to assert, in any place, rights and / or claims, however explicable, directly and / or indirectly, to any supposed theory of liability for any purpose or reason abstractly refers, even objectively, to people who are representative and administrative bodies of ‘Chiocciola la casa del nomade’ Association.

2.3 ‘Paesaggi Migranti’ and ‘Chiocciola la casa del nomade’ won’t take responsibility for risks such as injuries, illness, loss or damage to property, accidents, etc.

The participant will use all tools with responsibility for himself, the other participants

and people around and the tool. Any notice of inappropriate use may result in a ban to use the tools during the rest of the workshop. The participants will be host in local houses, if they will cause damage they will have to pay.



3.1 As an EU citizen you have the same rights to health care as people insured in Italy.

You should just take your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) with you.

This card is the proof that you are insured in your EU country.

In some countries the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) is issued together with the national health card. In other countries, you need to apply for it.

You should not have to pay anything for your EHIC.

You should get it for free from your health insurer before leaving home.

5.1 If the participant cancels, Paesaggi Migranti will not refund the participant fee.

5.2 In the event that you are unable to attend the workshop you may nominate another person to attend in your place, provided that Paesaggi Migranti is informed of the identity of any such attendee no less than two weeks prior to the relevant workshop date. This can help you to get the invested money back through the new participant.



6.1 Paesaggi Migranti must have received the participant fee owed before april 30th, 2017

6.2 If the participation fee is not paid on time, Paesaggi Migranti shall be authorised to ban the participant from the workshop until the obligation to pay has been fulfilled. If this will not happen, another participant will be chosen to take the place.

6.3 Paesaggi Migranti will not refund any costs on travel.

6.4 Payment of the participation fee will happen by transferring the money directly to the organisation.



7.1 Paesaggi Migranti uses photographs and video footage for marketing purposes and on social media. If You don’t wish photographs of you to appear in such material you must inform the Paesaggi Migranti in writing.

7.2 All the given information in this form (application form) will be used in a respectful way.



8.1 None of the projects will have the possibility to be claimed as intellectual property, although every project the participant was involved in can be used in portfolios and on resumé, with the only condition of quoting ‘Migrant Landscape’ project, the artist tutoring the workshop and mention it as the owner of the idea and process.



9.1 We can not ensure you to refund any participant fees which You may have paid to Us if such cancellation or variation of the workshop is as a result of the occurrence of extraordinary events or circumstances beyond Our reasonable control, including acts of God, terrorism, industrial disputes (including industrial disputes from Our employees), fire, flood, tempest and national emergencies.
